We have been selling regional art by various artists since the inception of Wall Décor and More, and that brings us to the latest step on our journey, the creation of a Gallery. We can now offer two floors of art and giftware as well as custom framing, all under one roof.We have framed: paintings, posters, prints, photographs, certificated, parchments, clothing, branding irons, books, rings/jewellery, hockey jerseys, medals, baseball cards, trains, mirrors, dental tools, trophies, records, CDs, dried flowers/plants, fishing hooks, whale baleen, bows and arrows, belt buckles, cross stitch, paper tole and so much more!
Anyone who has visited the Canadian Rockies has no doubt been struck by their majesty and felt the need to capture the moment. Being from the prairies we were hit hard by the feeling so camera in hand, our journey began. Hiking the mountains led to albums filled with photos, photos led to matting and framing, and soon a new business was born. Our photos were sold under the banner of Epic Arts and found new homes in Canada, the U.S.A. and Europe.In 2003 a Lethbridge business named MGM Wall Décor went up for sale. MGM was a custom picture framing shop and it seemed like the next logical step on our journey, so we took the plunge and haven’t looked back since. Purchasing the business gave us access to a mind boggling array of mats and frames suitable for framing any image, from fine art to branding irons; from posters to dental tools (we do enjoy a challenge).
